...in Spain that is. Still one more flight to go today. Things have gone swimmingly so far if you don't count the general exhaustion we all feel. All are keeping spirits up though and are showing an exceptional level of stamina and good grace.
We did very well in Milan. Took a 40 minute train ride (wonderfully smooth) into the downtown from the airport. We caught a subway to the Duomo and checked out some of the great fashion shops. (Allan even bought a tie.)
Then it was back to the airport and a little hop over here to Madrid where we await our next flight. We really enjoyed seeing Milan.
Only hiccup is that we've tried few times to call Maddie's mom Heidi and haven't found a way to make that work so - hopefully Heidi - you're checking in here.
Couldn't have better travel partners but we do certainly miss the old gang. Feeling very nostalgic as we sail through customs like nobody's business.

While you guys are on the other side of the world, enjoying different culture... I am eating extremely burnt bacon and runny eggs. lol
