This won't be easy - I am nowhere as reliable as Unky Duck when it comes to updating and uploading pics but I am sure going to try. Hopefully we'll have lots of fun reports on here about our upcoming trip - our adventures and our misadventures.
I think today we've made a final decision to fly from Madrid to Malaga our first evening. The potential plan is to rent a car right from the Malaga airport and drive to our little pre-arranged hotel in Torremolinos. Then, in the morning, if it feels right, we're going to drive to Tarifa and take a ferry to Morocco. We will stay the night in Tangiers and then make our way back to our condo in Benalmedina on the Costa del Sol on the 29th. Because we don't get the condo til the 29th we actually have some freedom to explore the first couple of days. That is the tentative plan.
Checked out Chicago O'Hare airport today. Seems like Maddie will be able to wait at Chili's (our favourite airport hangout) at the same Terminal until we arrive. That should make things easy.
So this is the plan so far. I'll try to update/journal/blog regularly.
